Data and Evaluation

The Data and Evaluation Office performs and coordinates data analysis on families and children in DCYF care to guide program development, evaluate programs and inform policies. The office supports DCYF programs in the evaluation of services and uses evidence-based findings for the planning and development of family-driven programs and to improve child safety, permancy and well-being outcomes. You can contact Colleen Caron by email, Colleen.Caron@dcyf.ri.gov, or telephone (528-3720), for any data and evaluation issues.

The Office also uses data to track progress on DCYF's Program Improvement Plan (PIP). The PIP is the required response to the United States Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Child and Family Service Review (CFSR).
